Today residents in Knoxville will have a great opportunity to support and celebrate our countries heroes! This evening in The Foundry at World’s Fail Park will host a dinner honoring Sgt. Mitchell Stout of Lenoir City. Sgt. Stout was presented with the Medal of Honor in 1970 for his heroic acts at the Khe Gio Bridge in Vietnam. The dinner will collect proceeds which will in turn provide funding for maintenance and upkeep of the Veterans Memorial in Knoxville.
