“Lions, Tigers, and Gorillas “Oh My?” With more than 800 animals you can come face to face with, the Knoxville zoo is adding a couple of newbies. Zoo Knoxville is welcoming their newborn, Western Lowland gorillas this month. The mother gorilla gave birth last year to two furry babies and the zoo is happy to be welcoming more this year.
If you are moving to Knoxville this coming September, you may be able to see one of Zoo Knoxville’s very own mother gorillas paint live at the “Art Gone Wild” event. The yearly event is one that you and your family will not want to miss each year after moving to Knoxville. With a handful of four-legged artists from Zoo Knoxville, attendees will be able to enjoy wine, beer, soda, and hor ‘ dourves on the house while enjoying original paintings and gifts created by the zoo animals, as well as other local artists.
Rain or shine, stop by Zoo Knoxville after moving to the area and say hello to all of our friends here at the zoo! The Knoxville movers at All My Sons Moving & Storage have been hearing talk of both events buzzing around the city, and Knoxville families are anxiously waiting to be able to see new gorilla babies, as well as some of their favorite animals paint works of art.
Zoo Knoxville is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. year round. For more information and year-round events, be sure to check out https://www.zooknoxville.org/
