Travel Channel’s Paranormal Historian has Haunted Tour in Knoxville

J-Adam Smith, a paranormal historian who has received national attention for his appearance on the Travel Channel and numerous other media outlets, is stirring up the ghouls and goblins of Knoxville.

If you are moving to Knoxville, every Friday and Saturday night you can join Smith on his ghost tour in the historic Market Square and many other places that the locals frequent – without even knowing their violent history.

Smith’s tour consists of a mile long walk through downtown Knoxville, checking out buildings and parks that are haunted. Many of these seemingly normal locations go unnoticed among locals, including Market Square, the East Tennessee History Museum, the Oarsman statue where many paranormal sightings have taken place, First Presbyterian Church Cemetery (the oldest cemetery in Knoxville), and Mast General Store. Although these are the only locations on his tour, Smith throws in extra information on haunted Knoxville places along the way.

Before the tour, you will receive a flashlight, which have such simple circuits that spirits are able to turn them on and off, making their presence known along the tour. Cameras are also encouraged. Smith will also teach proper ghost etiquette, how to not be afraid, and how to be polite to ghosts and kindly introduce yourself.

Knoxville movers can’t wait to learn more about the haunted history of Knoxville, and Smith’s tour comes at the perfect time – just before Halloween. Visit http://www.hauntedknoxville.net/ for more information.
