1. Hot to Trot 5K/10K/Fun Run – This family-friendly event starts at 7:30 a.m. in front of Fleet Feet Sports and ends back in front of the store for a day of food, fun and celebration. If you haven’t been getting much exercise since moving to Knoxville, this is a great way to put some miles behind you and burn off some of that holiday food.
2. New Harvest Park Farmers Market – Looking for last minute fresh fruits and vegetables before your Thanksgiving dinner? The New Harvest Farmers Market will be open from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at 4700 New Harvest Park Lane. Support local farmers after moving to Knoxville and pick up some locally-grown food to add to your holiday meal.
3. Volunteer at the Love Kitchen – On Thanksgiving, the organization will be preparing to serve 3,000 meals to those less fortunate. Volunteers are needed to help serve over 100 meals at the Love Kitchen and deliver around 2,900 meals to areas around Knoxville.
