The beautiful thing about living in Knoxville that the residents cherish is the great outdoors!

If you are moving to Knoxville this winter, here are just some of the many outdoor events that the city will be featuring:

1) Catalyst Adaptive Climb: Catalyst Sports at the Climbing Center at River Sports Outfitters on Saturday, November 1st. This event takes place the first Saturday of every month, so if you are moving to Knoxville in the near future, come help make a difference in the community at this event, created specifically for the physically disabled to be able to participate in sports.

2) Z Day 5K Scenic City Multisport will also take place Saturday, November 1st at 9 a.m. at Athens Regional Park. This one-of-a-kind event is a race, complete with zombies, obstacles, fun, and a concert.

3) Concord Fall Frenzy Smoky Mountain DockDogs at Concord Dog Park is where you and all of your neighbors’ dogs can enjoy dock diving on Saturday, November 1st.

4) Fly Fishing 101 will be held on November 4th at 3 Rivers Angler. Learn fly fishing skills, fly-casting, and the basics of rigging. This event is completely free so make sure that you sign up in advance.

5) A Wiffleball Pickup Game will take place November 9th at Arnstein Jewish Community Center. Although it I located at the Jewish center, all are welcome to play and it is not a religious event.
