If you love comical classics like Nacho Libre, Shallow Hall, School of Rock, and Orange County, then Knoxville movers know that you will be ecstatic to find out that the hilarious lead star Jack Black is coming to Knoxville this month!
Jack Black will be bringing a little bit of Hollywood to Knoxville as he comes into town for a charity screening of his new movie Goosebumps. On September 24, the A-list actor will be attending an exclusive charity screening at Regal Cinemas Pinnacle 18 and all proceeds will go to benefit Variety – The Children’s Charity of Eastern Tennessee.
The local Regal Cinemas in Knoxville founded the local Variety chapter and has raised over $7.6 million to assist children in Eastern Tennessee, a number that makes residents and local Knoxville movers joyous to be living in such a giving city.
Scholastic has sold over 400 million Goosebumps books worldwide, making the new movie highly anticipated.
“With the success of the ‘Goosebumps’ series of books, we know there is an enormous fan base of adults and children that are truly excited to see this adventure comedy up on the big screen,” said Ken Thewes, chief marketing officer at Regal Entertainment Group. “Regal is thrilled to bring this film and star to Knoxville for the benefit screening while raising money for a great cause.”
If you are moving to Knoxville this month and have children, the Goosebumps premiere is definitely a local event to make it to. You can also lend a helping hand at the local Variety chapter throughout the year as well.
