Blue Bell Ice Cream Comes Back To Knoxville

After being pulled from shelves in March and yet again in August, Blue Bell Creameries ice cream comes back to Knoxville grocery stores on Monday, January 18.

All My Sons Moving & Storage of Knoxville learned that some Blue Bell products were pulled from shelves in March because of possible listeria contamination. This eventually led to a complete recall of all Blue Bell products in August.

Blue Bell has been aggressively working to correct any problems with their products for the past several months and is now offering a limited line of ice cream flavors to Knoxville residents and residents in 25 other cities. Flavors include Homemade Vanilla, Natural Vanilla Bean, Coffee, Cookies n’ Cream, Butter Pecan, Dutch Chocolate, Pistachio Almond and The Great Divide.

If you are craving a delicious scoop of Blue Bell ice cream after moving to Knoxville, you will most likely find what you are looking for at a Kroger grocery store. It has not yet been determined which other (if any) grocery stores will carry Blue Bell products in the near future.

Blue Bell Creameries originated in Brenham, Texas where it opened its doors in 1907 under the name Brenham Creamery Company. Here, farmers produced butter from excess cream and delivered it to local residents. It wasn’t until 1930 that the company began making ice cream and ultimately changed its name to Blue Bell Creameries.

To receive updates on Blue Bell’s progress, All My Sons Knoxville movers suggest visiting Blue Bell Creameries’ website.
